Utah is a remarkable viewing location for amateur astronomers. The western desert provides almost unlimited viewing conditions on a clear night. Unfortunately, it takes two hours and strong determination to drive all the way out there, so unless specified otherwise, all photos in this web site have been taken in the Salt Lake Valley.
